The Solar Farm Fire Safety Workshop is an essential training program designed to equip first responders with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to emergencies in utility-scale and grid-tied solar power generation facilities. The workshop will provide participants with up-to-date, factual information and procedures to enhance their response during construction, testing, and long-term operations of solar facilities.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, March 30, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Auburn Fire Department Station #2, located at 902 South Grandstaff Dr., Auburn, IN 46706. We encourage all first responders in the area to attend this important training and to help us promote a safer and more secure solar energy future.
