SolarFEST, set for Oct. 2, 2025, is a celebration of renewable energy development in rural communities C4EE showcase renewable energy options that facilitate and promote conversation, collaboration and action plans to enhance our nation’s clean energy future. SolarFEST is a community event that informs a range of participants about clean energy, while advocating for renewable investments within it, that underscores the economic impacts of clean energy innovations and its correlations with renewables as a rural industry. In addition to hosting a dialogue about opportunities for community engagement, sustainability, innovation and education, the event includes demonstrations to highlight how clean energy provides significant economic and workforce development opportunities in our state’s rural communities. The theme for this year’s event is “Homegrown Energy.”
Light the Night is a festive, yet relaxed, evening event held prior to SolarFEST that welcomes our participants and guests who are local or arrive a day early.
