Objective: To raise awareness about the effects of climate change in middle schools by
encouraging students to create a work of art that represents how they feel climate
change will affect their future.
● To participate in this contest, the student(s) must be in grades 5 through 8.
● Each submission should illustratively answer the question “How will climate change
● impact our environment?” (i.e. winter seasons will have less snow/some animal species will become extinct)
● Submissions should be in the form of an original drawing, painting, or photograph.
● Dimensions of the artwork should be no larger than 8 x 11.5 inches.
● Drawings and paintings should be created on white, creme and colored paper that is not easily crumpled (i.e. construction paper/poster paper).
● For the submission to be valid, each student must submit their entry form along with their artwork no later than 11:59 p.m. on May 3, 2023.
