A burst of youthful energy and a shared commitment to education and sustainability came together as Inborden Elementary STEAM Academy’s Kindergarten students graced the C4EE campus to visit the Radiant Rays. The Radiant Rays’ buzzed with anticipation as the Kindergarten students from Inborden Elementary stepped onto the grounds. The day’s highlight was a special collaboration—the Women in Solar: Radiant Rays Interns had the privilege of educating the young visitors. With a passion for both education and renewable energy, these interns formed the perfect guides for a journey into understanding the importance of protecting our planet. __________________________________________________________________

The children’s day was filled with captivating activities designed to cultivate a sense of responsibility for the environment. Recycling sorting activities engaged their inquisitive minds, illuminating the importance of waste reduction and recycling. They delved into the world beneath their feet as they learned about soil layers, forging a connection with the Earth’s intricate systems. __________________________________________________________________

The children’s hands-on experience extended to building their very own “Dirt Cups,” a delicious treat that carried a lesson of its own. As they layered cookie crumbles, pudding, and gummy worms, they not only satisfied their taste buds but also grasped the significance of soil and its role in nurturing life. __________________________________________________________________
